Over 35 years of working as conveyancing attorney, across various roles and positions, I have extensive industry knowledge. My experience extends beyond the work of being a Director in a prestigious Pretoria firm and Chairperson of the Property Committee of the Pretoria Attorneys Association. These roles have given me enormous insight into the industry which can only be fully understood and appreciated through experience. These include the particular challenges of working with Municipal Councils, Deeds Registries and with clients and civil servants.

 

The years that I have worked in the profession have been both a source of pride and a challenge for me and I have learned a great deal that I would feel grateful to pass on to a new generation of conveyancing attorneys.

My current goal for this new phase of my career is to assist professionals new to the industry, as well as those who have been in the profession for longer, through skills transfer in the form of mentorship and coaching.

As long-time industry-professional, I have a great deal to offer not only in terms of coaching new attorneys through the nuances of their position that cannot be taught at University, but also training groups and assisting with projects.

 

I have watched the industry develop over the years of my career and look forward to sharing my insights with a new generation of attorneys to enhance both their personal development, as well as industry development.
